Jr NTR’s latest film Devara: Part 1 is proving to be a box office juggernaut, grossing an impressive ₹243 crore globally within just two days of release. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film opened on September 27 across five languages: Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The official social media account of Devara celebrated the achievement, sharing a poster featuring Jr NTR with the caption, “Weapons of DESTRUCTION… unleashing FEAR that no corner can hide from!!” The staggering figure was shared across platforms, sparking further excitement among fans.

Despite the strong opening, Devara still trails behind other recent blockbusters. Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD, a science fiction epic co-starring Deepika Padukone, amassed ₹298.5 crore in two days. Additionally, Prabhas’ 2023 release Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire also outperformed Devara, with ₹295.7 crore during its opening.

Devara: Part 1 marks Jr NTR’s first solo release in six years, following 2018’s Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. Jr NTR, who was last seen in the globally acclaimed RRR, took to social media to express his gratitude to fans and the film’s team.

The film features a star-studded cast including Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, and more, and is receiving mixed reviews, with critics praising Jr NTR’s performance but noting gaps in the script.
