Devara’s pre-release event cancelled at last minute, Jr NTR expresses disappointment

In a sudden turn of events, the highly anticipated pre-release event for the film Devara was called off just hours before its scheduled start, leaving fans disheartened.

The film, starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, had generated immense excitement with the release of its trailer earlier in the day. The cancellation of the grand event, which was to take place in Hyderabad, led to disappointment among fans, many of whom had already gathered at the venue.

The event was reportedly called off due to security concerns and overcrowding. With the decision made just a few hours before the event, fans took to social media, expressing their frustration.

Responding to the situation, Jr NTR addressed fans via a video posted on Devara’s social media handles. Speaking in Telugu, the actor said, “I share your disappointment, my pain is more than yours. I was excited to meet you all and share insights about Devara. Unfortunately, due to security reasons, the event couldn’t proceed.”

The film’s team issued a statement explaining that heavy rains and overcrowding had created unfavorable conditions. The organizers prioritized the safety of fans and made the tough call to cancel. Devara, directed by Koratala Siva, will release on September 27. This marks Jr NTR’s return to the big screen after six years.
