Dhanush to return with new project under Dawn Pictures

In a major development, actor Dhanush is set to make his cinematic return with a new project under the banner of Dawn Pictures. This marks the first film for the actor since the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) lifted its red card, which had been placed on him due to unresolved financial issues. The announcement was made on Tuesday, signaling a fresh chapter for the star and the production house.

Dawn Pictures, a newly formed production company, shared the news via social media, declaring that their debut film, tentatively titled “D52,” will feature Dhanush in the lead. The announcement post read, “NEW BEGINNINGS! Dawn Pictures launches with a bang! We are proud to announce our maiden project #D52, starring @dhanushkraja sir.” Aakash Baskaran, the producer, expressed excitement over the collaboration, calling it a significant milestone for the production house.

Though specific details about the film’s cast and crew remain under wraps, Dhanush’s own Wunderbar Films will co-produce the movie alongside Dawn Pictures.

This announcement follows Dhanush’s recent release Raayan, co-starring Sundeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram. Meanwhile, the actor-director is currently working on Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, a romantic comedy. Additionally, Dhanush will direct Arun Vijay’s upcoming film, adding to his busy slate.

With the TFPC dispute now resolved, Dhanush’s career appears back on track with exciting projects lined up.
