Is family dispute behind the death of Suchana's 4-year-old son?

Suchana Seth, the CEO and founder of the Mindful AI Lab has been arrested for the murder of her 4-year-old son. 

As investigation into the case progresses, it is learnt that she had travelled to Goa with her son earlier this month. Sources inform NewsFirst Prime that the accused was under a lot of trauma emanating from a family dispute, due to which she may herself have murdered her son. 

Suchana’s origins

Suchana hails from West Bengal and shifted to Bengaluru in 2008-09. She has been married to a Tamil-Nadu based techie Venkataramana. 

For the last two years, the couple have been separated and fighting out a divorce suit. The husband had been granted visitation rights by the court only on Sundays. As part of the rights, he would communicate with the son via videoconferencing. 

It is now learnt that Suchana was not happy with this mode of communication with the child. 

Unable to face the depression, it is suspected she decided to murder her son and then slash her wrists. With available evidence, it is being suspected that she smothered the child to death.
