Did you know that air pollution can kill you?
It is emerging as one of the leading causes for heart attacks. Till now, we all knew that air pollution can cause bronchitis, asthma, but it can even cause heart attacks.
Dr C Manjunath, a cardiologist, explains: “Air pollution has emerged as one of the leading causes for heart attacks. All of us know air pollution causes bronchitis, asthma and even lung cancer. But it is a leading cause for heart attacks as well. The particulate matter that gets into the vessels only clogs them.”

Doctors are facing massive stress
Whenever we fall ill, we rush to the doctors to help ourselves recuperate. It is difficult to imagine life without the services of doctors.
However, even as they continue to serve us, they themselves are in a dangerous situation, all because of the massive stress they face.
The doctor explains, “Due to excessive stress that doctors are under, their life expectancy has declined by 10 years. They are under constant pressure by patients and their relatives as they have high expectations. Doctors are expected to revive even dead patients. So I would say stress is the new tobacco.”
Though doctors are lifesavers, they themselves are in a troubling situation because of the stress the face. Dr C Manjunath, cardiologist, explains. #Cardiologist#stress#lifestylepic.twitter.com/TcRXCqptgE
