Kiran, a die-hard fan of Puneeth Rajkumar has donated his organs to patients and has saved the lives of 6 people. 21-year-old Kiran did his humanitarian service even in his death.

He had met with a serious road accident at 8th mile in Bengaluru on August 6. He was severely injured in the accident and was declared brain-dead by doctors after he was admitted to Prakriya Hospital in the city.

Being an ardent admirer of actor Puneeth Rajkumar, he had pledged to donate his organs to those needing organ transplant.

Doctors convinced his parents to donate his organs and upon their parents agreeing to it, his organs were donated after consulting with SOTTO (State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization) and with which doctors coud save six lives.

He donated his two kidneys, a liver, a heart and eyes, and six patients were transplanted with his organs in the city.

Kiran was a resident of Aralahalli village of Holenarsipura taluk in Hassan district and was running his own business in Bagalagunte area in Bengaluru.

Kiran hailed from a poor family and had shouldered all the responsibilities of his family at a very young age. His family members are bereaved with his loss.
