Prashanth Neel has confirmed his next big project titled 'NTR 31'

It will feature Jr NTR and is slated for a theatrical release on Jan 9, 2026

In a major update from the Indian film industry, director Prashanth Neel has confirmed his next big project after completing ‘Salaar’. The much-anticipated film, tentatively titled ‘NTR 31’, will feature Jr NTR and is slated for a theatrical release on January 9, 2026. This date positions the film for a strategic release just ahead of the Sankranti festival.

The announcement was made on social media, with the film’s poster declaring, “This time, the earth will tremble under his reign! #NTRNEEL will step onto the soil on January 9, 2026. MAN OF MASSES #Prashanth Neel.” The makers also revealed that the film’s opening ceremony and muhurat pujah will take place soon, with final casting details still under wraps.

As anticipation builds for ‘NTR 31’, Jr NTR’s fans are eagerly awaiting the release of his current project, ‘Devara’, scheduled for September 27, 2024. Directed by Kortala Siva, ‘Devara’ also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. A sequel to ‘Devara’ is already in the works, featuring Bobby Deol as the antagonist.

Meanwhile, Prashanth Neel is focused on ‘Salaar 2’, the sequel to the successful ‘Salaar’, which stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumar, and Shruti Haasan.
