Shivakumar, immersed in devotion, chanted Har Har Mahadev as he performed the sacred bath. He later expressed his happiness, calling it a rare privilege to participate in the once-in-144-years event. Saints and sadhus present at the site blessed him and his family.

The Mahakumbh Mela has already witnessed three significant Amrit Snans this year—on Makar Sankranti (January 14), Mauni Amavasya (January 29), and Vasant Panchami (February 3)—with crores of devotees taking part.

Meanwhile, the Mela has also become a political battleground, with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge questioning whether bathing in the Ganga could eradicate poverty. His remarks sparked outrage among BJP leaders, fueling a nationwide debate. Despite the controversy, Shivakumar chose to focus on the spiritual aspect, offering special prayers with deep devotion.

The Mahakumbh Mela, known for its religious and cultural significance, continues to attract devotees from across the world, reinforcing India’s deep-rooted spiritual traditions.
