In a significant development in Karnataka's cooperative sector, Member of Parliament DK Suresh has been elected unopposed as the President of the Bangalore Urban, Rural & Ramanagara District Co-operative Milk Producers Societies Union Ltd (BAMUL). His election has sparked massive celebrations among his supporters and party workers.

Following the announcement, jubilant supporters gathered outside the BAMUL office, distributing sweets, raising slogans in praise of DK Suresh and the "DK Brothers", and adorning him with garlands and shawls. His unchallenged selection reflects his influence and popularity, particularly in the rural and agricultural communities.

Alongside DK Suresh, Kudur Rajanna has also been elected unopposed as the Vice President of BAMUL. The election was conducted among the federation’s members and elected representatives, all of whom extended their unanimous support to Suresh’s leadership.

In his first address after being elected, DK Suresh expressed deep gratitude to the farmers and cooperative society members. He said, “The faith shown in me by the farming community is invaluable. I will do my best to uphold that trust. As BAMUL president, I will work to ensure better facilities and fair returns to farmers.”

He further added that he would prioritize the development of the dairy sector, enhance benefits to milk producers, and coordinate with the government for pro-farmer initiatives. Suresh also thanked everyone who supported and believed in his vision for BAMUL’s progress.
