“I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities who are getting attacked and looted by mobs in Bangladesh, which remains in a total state of chaos,” Trump stated, adding, “It would have never happened on my watch.” This marks Trump’s first public comment on the situation in Bangladesh.

Trump also took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden, accusing them of ignoring the plight of Hindus globally and domestically. “Kamala and Joe have ignored Hindus across the world and in America,” he said, calling their administration a “disaster” on both foreign and domestic issues.
The former president also used the occasion to reaffirm his commitment to strengthening U.S.-India relations, referencing his connection with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Under my administration, we will also strengthen our great partnership with India and my good friend, Prime Minister Modi,” he added, extending Diwali greetings and expressing hope for the festival’s message of “Victory of Good over Evil.”
