In a disturbing case of suspected road rage, a DRDO Wing Commander was reportedly assaulted while travelling with his wife in Bengaluru on April 18, 2025. Wing Commander Aditya Bose, in a video later shared on Instagram, described how a biker stopped their car near CV Raman Nagar and began abusing him in Kannada, allegedly targeting the couple after noticing the DRDO sticker on their vehicle.

According to Bose, the confrontation escalated when the biker struck him on the forehead with a key, causing bleeding. More individuals reportedly joined the attacker, with one person hitting him on the head with a stone. Bose was visibly injured in the video, with blood on his face and neck. His wife, Squadron Leader Madhumita, also faced verbal abuse during the incident.
Following the assault, Madhumita drove the couple to the nearest police station to file a complaint. However, Bose claimed there was no satisfactory response from the authorities, leaving him disillusioned about the safety and respect for armed forces personnel in the state.
The Indian Air Force confirmed that the officer received medical attention and is recovering. Police have acknowledged the complaint and are investigating the incident. Efforts are underway to contact the victim and verify the details. The IAF has pledged full support to Bose and cooperation with civil authorities to ensure lawful proceedings.
