Earlier in the day, Pakistan reportedly attempted to strike 15 military installations across India. In a swift counter-response, Indian forces targeted and destroyed several air defence systems in Lahore. Among the assets hit were HQ-9 missile defence units—Chinese-made systems that were reportedly neutralized by Israeli-origin HAROP drones, significantly compromising Pakistan's air defence in key areas.

Drone activity was reported in multiple Pakistani cities including Lahore, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, and Rawalpindi. Pakistani military sources confirmed injuries to four soldiers in Lahore, while a civilian casualty was reported in Miano, Sindh.

As part of Operation Sindhoor, around 100 militants were eliminated in precision strikes on nine camps linked to proscribed outfits such as Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has intensified cross-border firing along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, affecting several sectors including Kupwara, Baramulla, and Poonch.

Security around major venues in Pakistan remains tight as the situation continues to unfold.
