Drug abuse allegations lead to complications in KC Cariappa’s conflict with ex-girlfriend

The allegations made by a woman on Karnataka spinner KC Cariappa have proven costly for him. The forced abortion charges made against him are just one of the concerns for him. Her statement that they would consume weed together has also led to issues. 

It is being reported that the  Central Crime Branch’s (CCB) attention has now been placed on KC Cariappa. There are speculations that an CCB investigation will take place on the basis of the incident. The allegation was that the consumption of the drugs would take place at his home. Therefore his mobile phone and his house may both be subject to scrutiny. There are many unanswered questions such as the source of the drugs, the route followed by the peddlers and the identity of the peddlers. 

In a heated confrontation on NewsFirst, the woman accused Cariappa of lying. “I have several chat messages with Carippa. He knew about my divorce. I informed him on the first day we met. He would consume weed. We have talked about this. He did not explore hard drugs that might affect his cricketing career. He would supply weed to me. He would regularly smoke weed,” she alleged. 

KC Kariappa has himself filed a case against the woman for alleged threats to ruin his cricketing career that were also directed to his family.
