The court’s decision on bail came in response to a plea highlighting Darshan’s medical condition, which was deemed a "medical emergency" by his legal team. The court granted him temporary relief, allowing him six weeks to seek treatment at a hospital of his choice. As part of the bail conditions, Darshan must surrender his passport and provide periodic updates to the court regarding his medical status and location.

Following the pronouncement of the verdict, family members and well-wishers of the actor quickly gathered at Ballari Jail to receive him. For his supporters, this news serves as a welcome reprieve and is being regarded as an early Diwali gift.

Darshan’s case has been closely followed, with his release now paving the way for crucial medical care amid ongoing legal proceedings in the high-profile murder case.
