  • ED is probing Bengaluru man S Satish over claims of buying a Rs 50 crore rare wolfdog
  • Satish says he only posed with the dog, which he claims is with a friend
  • Complaints allege possible hawala links; ED is verifying financial details

Bengaluru-based exotic pet breeder S Satish has come under the scanner of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) after his photos with a rare “wolfdog” allegedly worth Rs 50 crore surfaced online, triggering a social media frenzy. The animal, named Cadabomb Okami, is described as a hybrid between a wild wolf and a Caucasian Shepherd, and is said to have been purchased by Satish through a broker in February.

Following the viral images, the ED received complaints suggesting the high-value transaction may have involved hawala channels or unaccounted funds. In response, the agency launched an investigation and summoned Satish for questioning. Officials also asked him to produce the dog, but he reportedly told them that the animal is currently with a friend.

Satish, 51, is known for dealing in rare and exotic pets and has denied all allegations of financial irregularities. He clarified that the widely circulated images were taken during a photoshoot and that he does not own the animal. However, initial reports indicate he may have claimed to purchase it.

The probe has raised questions about the regulation of exotic pet trading in India and whether such high-value acquisitions are monitored. As investigations continue, the ED is expected to scrutinize the financial trail behind the claimed transaction and verify Satish’s statements.
