  • Elon Musk alleged to have had sex with SpaceX intern
  • Woman was asked to bear Elon's babies during exit interview
  • Jokes about sexual harassment were normalised

A report from The Wall Street Journal suggests that the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SpaceX and Tesla Motors Elon Musk engaged in sexual relations with others who had worked in the organisation including a SpaceX intern. The allegations put forward are shocking. These include a supposed drug abuse of narcotic substances such as LSD, cocaine, ketamine and mushrooms. These were also said to have been consumed at the office along with other board members.

A woman is alleged to have been made an offer to bear Elon Musk’s babies during her exit interview. One of the women pursued by Elon was supposedly still in college when the sexual interaction took place. These are also said to have had an impact on their performance reviews and subsequent hikes.

The report indicates that the office culture had normalised jokes about sexual harassment. A pay gap between male and female employees is also said to have existed.  Officials in SpaceX have however denied the allegations. “The untruths, mischaracterizations, and revisionist history in your email paint a completely misleading narrative. I continue to be amazed by what this extraordinary group of people are achieving every day even amidst all the forces acting against us. And Elon is one of the best humans I know,” Gwynne Shotwell, Space X’s President remarked.
