According to a new report by Informa Connect Academy, Tesla CEO Elon Musk is on track to become the world's first trillionaire by 2027. Musk’s fortune, currently valued at an astounding $241 billion, is growing at a remarkable annual rate of over 110%, as noted by Bloomberg’s billionaire index.

Indian industrialist Gautam Adani is expected to follow, potentially achieving trillionaire status by 2028. Adani's wealth is rising even faster, with an annual growth rate of 123%. Other billionaires such as Nvidia founder Jensen Huang, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and LVMH’s Bernard Arnault are also anticipated to reach the trillion-dollar mark by 2030.
India’s wealth surge has been notable, with reports indicating the combined wealth of the country's richest individuals has surpassed $1 trillion, reaching $1.19 trillion (Rs 99.86 lakh crore). The Fortune India report highlights Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani as key figures, each with wealth exceeding Rs 10 trillion. The Shapoorji Pallonji family follows with a combined fortune of Rs 3,64,932 crore.
The Hurun India Rich List 2024 reveals that India has minted a new billionaire every five days throughout 2023, adding 1,539 ultra-wealthy individuals. Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani tops the Bloomberg real-time index as the richest Asian, with $111 billion, closely followed by Adani at $99.6 billion.
