Munawar allegedly insulted Lord Ram and Goddess Sita in the past

We cannot verbally abuse each other: Elvish

The winner of Bigg Boss Munawar Faruqui and the winner of the previous edition of Bigg Boss Elvish Yadav faced each other in the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) for the purposes of charity. This has however created a huge storm on the internet as a sect of supporters criticised Elvish for his friendly gestures towards Munawar. They felt that this is inappropriate as Munawar allegedly insulted Lord Ram and Goddess Sita in the past. An apology was demanded from Elvish for this.

Elvish has however refused to oblige to this request. He has remained firm and justified his action. “Mai muh latka ke baith jau kya? Charity match tha vo. (Should I play with a sulking face? It was a charity match) Akshay Kumar was also playing with Munawar so will people troll him too? When you go on a field, you have to show some sportsmanship. You need to show that you have come to play the game and not address enmity. Bhot cheezein use bhi meri pasand nahi hogi and vice versa. But dushmani nahi nikal sakte aise. Gaali galauch thodi na karne baith jaunga. (There are many things that he wouldn’t like about me. But we cannot express our enmity. We cannot verbally abuse each other). We shouldn’t be rude,” he said on a space on X.
