Drone surveillance will intensify as night falls, and additional barricades have been erected along Brigade Road to regulate crowd movement. Access is restricted to designated entry gates to streamline pedestrian flow, supported by iron gates and strategically placed checkpoints.

Women’s safety remains a top priority, with an increased deployment of female home guards and women-specific safety rooms established near metro exits. Police are also emphasizing protection for young women, especially those in vulnerable situations due to intoxication.

Hoysala patrol vehicles will play a significant role, focusing on maintaining order and offering assistance. Female officers have been stationed in Hoysala vehicles to provide additional support for women.

In a lighter vein, Brigade Road's festive decorations have attracted a Kerala-based couple for a unique pre-wedding photoshoot, with the vibrant lighting and celebratory ambiance serving as a romantic backdrop.

With hundreds of CCTV cameras providing HD-quality monitoring, authorities are prepared for any situation. Police Commissioner’s instructions emphasize continuous patrolling to deter misconduct and ensure a safe and joyful New Year’s Eve for all.
