The winners of the 71st National Film Awards were officially announced today at the National Media Centre, New Delhi, following the jury's submission of the final report to Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw and Minister of State Dr. L Murugan at 4 PM.

The awards celebrate excellence in Indian cinema, recognizing top talent in feature films, technical artistry, and performance across various languages and genres.
Shah Rukh Khan shared the prestigious Best Actor award for Jawan alongside Vikrant Massey for 12th Fail. Rani Mukerji was named Best Actress for her compelling performance in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. The Hindi film Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery secured the Best Feature Film in Hindi.
This year's awards saw regional films shine, with Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Punjabi cinema receiving major accolades. The jury honored excellence not only in acting and direction but also in choreography, cinematography, sound, music, and production design.
