In a twist that stunned contestants, Kiccha Sudeep refused to honour any housemate with the season’s first “Kicchana Chappale,” instead dedicating it to the people of Karnataka.
Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12’s first Kiccha Panchayati turned out to be full of surprises!
Host Kiccha Sudeep, known for his sharp observations and fair judgment, made a powerful statement by not giving the first “Kicchana Chappale” to any contestant this week.

Explaining his decision, Sudeep said the applause belongs to the people of Karnataka, who represented the state during the show’s grand opening. Those chosen audience members had voted on who should go solo and who should pair up based on each contestant’s speech, attitude, and conduct. “They judged fairly and wisely,” Sudeep remarked, adding, “My first Kicchana Chappale goes to them.”

The host also gave contestants a reality check, reminding them that 12 participants were deemed “not fit to stay solo” by the audience, a verdict that now seems accurate after observing the week’s events.
In Bigg Boss Kannada, the “Kicchana Chappale” is one of the most prestigious recognitions a contestant can earn. It’s awarded to housemates who display responsibility, integrity, strong personality, and fair play. Winners’ photos are displayed on the wall as a mark of honour.

This week, however, the wall will remain empty, a symbol of Sudeep’s message that real applause must be earned through merit, not mediocrity.
