In a significant move to curb environmental violations, the Karnataka Pollution Control Board has ordered the shutdown of the ongoing Bigg Boss Kannada 12 show being filmed at Jollywood Studio and Adventures, located near Bidadi, on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The studio, which serves as the set for the popular reality show, has now been sealed following a directive from the authorities.

Ramanagara Tahsildar Tejaswini, along with Revenue Department officials and police security, personally oversaw the locking of the studio’s main gate today at Bigg Boss house. The action comes after multiple warnings were issued to Jollywood Studio for failing to comply with waste management and water purification guidelines set by the Pollution Control Board.
Studio repeatedly ignored earlier notices
The studio had repeatedly ignored notices over the past year regarding the improper handling of wet and dry waste and the failure to purify water used in production. Despite several serious alerts, the management of Jollywood Studio appeared indifferent to the environmental concerns, prompting the latest shutdown order.
This order aims to bring the studio into compliance with environmental regulations and halt further pollution, ensuring that the studio addresses its ongoing violations before resuming operations. The future of the Bigg Boss show at this location now hangs in the balance as authorities continue their investigation.
