Fresh buzz around actors Dhanush and Mrunal Thakur has set social media abuzz, with reports claiming that the rumoured couple may soon take their relationship to the next level. According to recent media reports, the two actors are said to be planning a private wedding on February 14, coinciding with Valentine’s Day this year.

As per reports, the wedding, if it happens, will be a low-key and intimate affair, attended only by close family members and a few friends. However, despite the growing excitement among fans, it is important to note that neither Dhanush nor Mrunal Thakur has issued any official statement confirming or denying the marriage rumours.

Speculation around their relationship has been circulating for quite some time. The dating rumours first gained traction in August 2025, when the duo were spotted together at the premiere of Mrunal Thakur’s film Son of Sardaar 2. Their public appearance sparked curiosity and led to widespread discussion about a possible romantic connection.

Earlier to that, Mrunal’s presence at the wrap party of Dhanush’s film Tere Ishq Mein had also raised eyebrows. Adding fuel to the rumours, fans noticed that Mrunal follows Dhanush’s sisters, Dr. Karthika Karthik and Vimalageetha, on Instagram, further intensifying speculation about her closeness to the actor’s family.

At one point, a source close to the actors reportedly confirmed that the two were indeed dating, describing the relationship as new and private. However, last year, Dhanush appeared to downplay the rumours by referring to Mrunal as a “good friend,” seemingly putting an end to the dating speculation at the time.

With no official word yet from either actor, the reported Valentine’s Day wedding remains a matter of speculation, keeping fans eagerly waiting for clarity.
