“Don’t shed tears, I am with you”: Panjurli Daiva blesses Rishab Shetty..PHOTOS

Kantara Chapter 1 has achieved massive success, earning hundreds of crores and emerging as an international hit. The film is rooted in the traditional Daiva worship of Tulu Nadu, which the team believes played a major role in its success. As a gesture of gratitude, a special Harake Nema Utsava was offered to Varahi Panjurli Daiva in Mangaluru to thank the Daiva for the film’s triumph.

Massive victory for ‘Kantara’

Kantara has emerged as a major milestone in Kannada cinema, a film that not only redefined the industry but also introduced Rishab Shetty and Kannada filmmaking to an international audience. Both films in the Kantara universe are rooted deeply in the sacred traditions of Tulu Nadu’s Daiva worship.

Kantara team offers Harake Nema in Mangaluru

The Kantara film team performed a Harake Nema ritual at the Sri Arasu Dharma Jarandaya, Jarandaya Banta and Varahi Daivasthana in Barebail, Yeyyadi, Mangaluru. Before the film went into production, Divine Star Rishab Shetty had visited the shrine and taken a vow, praying for the film’s success.

Panjurli Daiva’s blessing

At the Daiva Nema ceremony, Rishab Shetty’s wife Pragathi Shetty, producer Vijay Kiragandur, director Santhosh Ananddram, and several members of the film fraternity participated. They received the prasada and sought the divine blessings of the Daiva. During the ritual, Panjurli Daiva is said to have offered words of assurance to actor Rishab Shetty, blessing him with the message: “Do not shed tears, I am always behind you.”
