Bullets hit the ground and first floors of the building while Yadav’s family and caretaker were inside. Fortunately, no one sustained injuries. Yadav himself was away from home at the time.

Police teams immediately arrived at the spot, collected forensic samples, and began scanning CCTV footage. A case has been registered, and officials confirmed that action will proceed once a formal complaint from the family is lodged.

The incident took a dramatic turn when a social media post surfaced, allegedly from the “Bhau Gang,” led by gangsters Himanshu Bhau and Neeraj Faridpuria. The post claimed responsibility for the attack, warning that those endorsing illegal betting apps could face “calls or bullets.”

Elvish Yadav, 27, rose to fame with his YouTube content before becoming a household name after winning Bigg Boss OTT 2 in 2023. While he commands a massive following, controversies have often trailed him, most notably his arrest last year in connection with alleged use of snake venom at rave parties, a case in which he is still facing trial.
