The Kantara Chapter 1 trailer has finally released, surpassing expectations and generating a massive sensation across India. In a first-time press meet, the film’s cast and crew, led by Divine Star Rishabh Shetty, shared intimate details of the filmmaker’s journey, including life-threatening challenges faced during production.

Kantara, which captivated the nation with its earlier installment, promises to depict divine power, devotion, and the people’s struggle through visually stunning sequences. Rishabh Shetty revealed that the film took nearly three and a half years to shoot, with the team keeping details under wraps until now. He disclosed several instances where he faced severe physical and mental strain, even confronting near-death experiences multiple times. Shetty’s wife, Pragati, who worked as the costume designer, also shared behind-the-scenes insights into the rigorous process.
Highlighting the film’s pan-India appeal, Shetty confirmed that Kantara Chapter 1 will release in multiple languages, including Kannada in the US. He emphasized that despite the enormous challenges, the Kannada audience’s support has enabled the movie to reach this milestone. All major songs will be released soon, although music production is still underway due to the project’s scale.
