Kantara prequel to release October 2, Prithviraj secures Kerala distribution rights

The much-awaited Kantara prequel, directed and headlined by Rishab Shetty, hits theatres on October 2, with Malayalam superstar Prithviraj distributing it in Kerala.

The countdown has begun for one of Sandalwood’s most awaited films of the year. Actor-director Rishab Shetty’s Kantara prequel is set to release worldwide on October 2, 2025, under the banner of Hombale Films.
