Bollywood star Katrina Kaif is reportedly expecting her first child, and speculation is rife that her recent visit to the famed Kukke Subramanya temple in Karnataka played a role in this milestone.
Katrina, who married actor Vicky Kaushal in 2021, had not conceived in the four years since their wedding. Now at 42, the actress is believed to be pregnant and expected to deliver soon. According to reports, she turned to astrology after medical treatments failed to yield results. Astrologers allegedly identified “sarpa dosha” (a snake-related planetary affliction) in her horoscope and advised her to perform rituals at Kukke Subramanya.

Seeking relief from naga dosha and blessings for progeny
Following this advice, Katrina visited the temple with her family on March 11. She reportedly stayed for two days, performing the Sarpa SamskaraandNaga Pratishtharituals, both considered remedies for naga dosha. Notably, her visit coincided with Ashlesha Nakshatra on a Tuesday, regarded in astrology as a particularly auspicious time for such worship.
The Kukke Subramanya shrine, dedicated to Lord Subramanya, is one of the most renowned pilgrimage centers in India. Thousands of devotees visit annually, especially those seeking relief from naga dosha and blessings for progeny.
Now, with news of Katrina’s pregnancy making headlines, many devotees and fans are crediting the temple’s divine blessings for her new chapter in life. While science attributes conception to medical and biological factors, the timing has fueled belief in the spiritual power of Kukke Subramanya.
