No phone policy’ at Vijay-Rashmika wedding: Tollywood’s star couple opts for ultra-private ceremony

After months of speculation, Tollywood’s most adored pair, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, have finalised their wedding date, choosing a private ceremony in Udaipur with strict privacy rules.

Putting an end to long-standing rumours, Tollywood’s most loved on-screen and off-screen couple, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, have officially fixed their wedding date. The star duo will enter marital life on February 26 in the royal city of Udaipur, Rajasthan, in an intimate ceremony.

Wedding festivities will commence from February 24, with traditional pre-wedding rituals being held separately at both households. Special prayers and customary ceremonies have already been completed at Rashmika’s parental home as well as at Vijay’s residence, following family traditions.

In a move inspired by celebrity weddings like Virat-Anushka and Vicky-Katrina, the couple has enforced a strict no-phone policy at the wedding venue. Guests will not be allowed to carry mobile phones to prevent photo and video leaks. Even the official photography and videography teams have signed confidentiality agreements to ensure total privacy.

In a surprising decision, the couple has not invited film industry colleagues or celebrity friends. Only immediate family members and a very small circle of close friends will attend the wedding, keeping the ceremony extremely personal and low-key.

Adding a heartfelt touch, Vijay and Rashmika personally sent handwritten notes to close friends, requesting blessings instead of gifts, politely asking them to avoid bringing presents.

After the private wedding, a grand reception will be hosted in Hyderabad on March 4, where film celebrities, industry colleagues, and friends are expected to attend.

Post-wedding, the couple plans to take a one-month break from work to spend time together, go on their honeymoon, and settle into their new life. Fans of the iconic pair, who charmed audiences in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, are celebrating the real-life union of their favourite duo.
