Prabhas’ The Raja Saab trailer out! Unveils grand horror mystery

The makers of Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab have released the much-awaited trailer, offering a gripping glimpse into a romantic horror-comedy set for a festive Sankranthi 2026 release.

PAN-India star Prabhas is gearing up for his next release, The Raja Saab, a romantic horror-comedy directed by Maruthi. Scheduled to hit screens on January 9, 2026, during the Sankranthi festival season, the film has already generated strong buzz following its pre-release event held on Saturday.

Adding to the excitement, the makers have now unveiled the release trailer, which offers an intriguing look into a mysterious and visually grand narrative. The trailer introduces Sanjay Dutt as Prabhas’ grandfather, a character whose presence continues even after death. His spirit transforms into a formidable and dark force that resides within an ancient mansion.

The story takes shape when Prabhas moves into the mansion to uncover truths about his grandfather. Unaware of the danger awaiting him, he soon realises that anyone entering the house falls under the powerful influence of the grandfather’s spirit. The bungalow is presented as a labyrinth filled with secrets, unanswered questions and eerie wonders, trapping Prabhas and his friends within its walls.

The trailer raises several questions about the identity and past of Sanjay Dutt’s character, the challenges faced by the protagonist and the fate that awaits them. The visuals stand out, supported by an impressive background score. Sanjay Dutt’s larger-than-life appearance, enhanced by strong VFX, leaves a striking impact, while Prabhas’ vintage look and his royal lineage add depth and intrigue to the narrative.
