  • Supreme Court remarked on unpredictability of stray dogs during hearing
  • Ramya responded with a sharp Instagram post
  • She questioned blanket logic using a human crime comparison

Actor-politician Ramya questions the logic behind linking unpredictability to action, responding strongly to Supreme Court observations on stray dogs during a hearing.

Actor and former MP Ramya has stirred debate with a strong Instagram post reacting to recent observations made by the Supreme Court during a hearing on the issue of stray dogs.

The apex court, while hearing the matter related to the growing menace of stray dogs, remarked that the behaviour of street dogs cannot be predicted. The court noted that it is difficult to understand a stray dog’s mindset and said no one can clearly tell when a dog might bite and when it might not.

Reacting sharply to this observation, Ramya drew a controversial comparison in her Instagram post. She questioned whether unpredictability alone can justify extreme preventive measures. In her post, Ramya asked whether all men should be jailed because it is impossible to predict when a man might commit rape or murder.

“All men should be put in jail?” Ramya asked sarcastically, adding that no one can understand a man’s mind either, and it is not known when a man might commit rape or murder. Through this comparison, she criticised the reasoning implied in the court’s remark on stray dogs.

The post quickly drew attention on social media, with many users reacting to her comparison and her criticism of the Supreme Court’s observation. Ramya, who has been vocal on social and political issues, has often used social media to express strong opinions on public debates.
