In a momentous celebration of Indian cinema, the 71st National Film Awards ceremony saw Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan, Vikrant Massey, and Rani Mukherjee take home top honors for their exceptional performances. Held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi, the awards were presented by President Droupadi Murmu.

Shah Rukh Khan shared the prestigious Best Actor award for his stellar performances in Jawan. This marks his first National Award, a remarkable achievement in his illustrious three-decade-long career. His film Jawan not only earned critical acclaim but also broke box office records, crossing ₹1,000 crore worldwide.
Vikrant Massey, who portrayed the real-life IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma in 12th Fail, earned recognition for his powerful acting. The film, made on a modest budget of ₹20 crore, went on to gross ₹69.64 crore, showcasing Massey's ability to bring a true story to life.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee won the Best Actress award for her compelling role in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, a film that highlighted her extraordinary talent and emotional depth.
The 71st National Film Awards not only honored these stellar performances but also underscored the richness and diversity of Indian cinema.
