Actor Vijay Deverakonda’s recent visit to Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Prasanthi Nilayam ashram in Puttaparthi has created a social media storm, not for a film update, but for a ring on his finger. The actor, who was accompanied by his parents and brother Anand Deverakonda on October 5, received a floral welcome from ashram officials before offering prayers at the Maha Samadhi of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Viral photos and videos from the visit show the actor holding a bouquet, with eagle-eyed fans quickly spotting a ring on his left hand. The clip immediately went viral, with many speculating it to be his engagement ring, following reports that Vijay and actress Rashmika Mandanna got engaged privately at his Hyderabad residence on October 3.

Sources suggest that the intimate ceremony was attended only by close family members. Reports further claim that the beloved Tollywood couple plans to tie the knot in February 2026 in a destination wedding. However, neither Vijay nor Rashmika has made any official statement confirming the news.

Interestingly, both Vijay and his brother Anand share a long association with Prasanthi Nilayam, they completed their schooling at the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Higher Secondary School in Anantapur.
