Darshan, along with others, has been accused of the murder of Renukaswamy, a pharmacy store owner in Chitradurga. Renukaswamy had allegedly sent inappropriate messages to Pavitra Gowda, Darshan’s close associate, as he believed she was interfering in his life.

Renukaswamy was kidnapped and taken to a shed where he was severely beaten and thrown against the wall. His body was then disposed of in a drain.

In this case, Pavitra Gowda is identified as A1 and Darshan as A2.
