Ex-Army Officer Khushboo Patani praised for rescuing abandoned infant in Bareilly

Khushboo Patani, a former Lieutenant in the Indian Army and sister of Bollywood actress Disha Patani, was widely lauded online for rescuing an abandoned infant near her home in Bareilly. Now a fitness coach and entrepreneurial counselor, Khushboo shared a video on Instagram on Sunday showing her discovering a baby girl in a rundown shanty. As the child cried, Khushboo gently picked her up and comforted her, assuring her that she would now be properly taken care of.

Towards the end of the video, Khushboo made a heartfelt appeal to the public. She asked for help in identifying the child and criticized the parents for leaving the baby in such a state. “Shame on such parents,” she remarked, urging locals to come forward with information. In her post, she tagged the Bareilly Police and Uttar Pradesh authorities, stating that the child’s future must now be safeguarded through proper legal channels. She captioned the video with a poignant line: “Jako rakhe saiyan, maar sake nah koi,” expressing faith that the child was protected by divine intervention.

The video went viral, drawing praise from fans and celebrities alike. Actor Bhumi Pednekar commented with blessings, while many admired Khushboo’s unwavering sense of duty, calling her “always a soldier” despite her retirement from the Army.
