Ex-employee demanded Rs 20,000 in exchange of video

Sehaj Arora and his wife Gurpreet Kaur are founders of Fresh Bites which is renowned for its innovative Kulhad Pizza in Jalandhar, Punjab. 

The couple is famous on Instagram with their page having close to 100,000 followers. 

However they were recently caught in an unfortunate situation as a video containing their intimate moments had become viral on social media. This occurred right around the time their first child was delivered. 

Sehaj later posted a video on his page expressing his dismay over the incident and also clarifying that the leak occurred after they failed to meet a blackmailer’s demand for Rs 20,000. 

“I won’t delve into whether the video is real or not. Instead, let’s focus on the dire circumstances we find ourselves in. Just two days ago, my wife underwent surgery. Our home, which should have been filled with joy, now bears an atmosphere of despair. We live in uncertainty, unsure of what the future holds. Neither are we able to open our doors to go somewhere, nor are we able to get any work done,” he stated in the video. 

The Jalandhar Police on Friday arrested a woman in relation to the case. She was an ex-employee. She had attempted to extort Rs 20,000 by virtue of the possession of the video as she was distraught at having been fired. The police are trying to establish how she came to possess the video in the first place.
