Fan disguises as maid, stays at Govinda’s home for 20 days, reveals wife Sunita Ahuja

In a recent revelation, Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, shared a startling incident involving an overly dedicated fan of the Bollywood star. During an appearance on the Timeout With Ankit podcast, Sunita recounted how a young woman, who turned out to be the daughter of a minister, disguised herself as a maid to get closer to Govinda and stayed at their home for nearly three weeks.

Speaking about the bizarre episode, Sunita explained that she had noticed something unusual about the new househelp. "I kept thinking she didn’t seem like a maid. She couldn’t even wash the dishes properly," Sunita said. Her suspicions grew, leading to the discovery that the woman was not a maid at all, but a devoted fan of Govinda who had taken extreme measures to be near him.

The fan eventually broke down and confessed her true identity, leading her father to arrive at Govinda’s house with a convoy of cars filled with politicians. Sunita recalled how the fan's dedication left her in disbelief, noting the intense adoration Govinda commanded during his heyday in the 90s.

Govinda, a comedy icon in Bollywood, starred in hit films like Aankhen (1993), Coolie No 1 (1995), and Partner (2007), amassing a massive fan base during his career.
