Fans rally against content creator for mocking Aishwarya Rai’s style and daughter Aaradhya

A recent video by content creator Sidra Hafeez has ignited a storm of criticism from Aishwarya Rai's fans, who accused her of disrespecting the Bollywood star’s style and close relationship with her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.

Sidra posted a video on Instagram mimicking Aishwarya's iconic look, featuring straight hair, middle parting, and bold lipstick, while humorously portraying Aaradhya’s constant presence at public events.

The video, intended as a light-hearted take, featured a child playing Aaradhya, clinging to Sidra as she imitated Aishwarya. With captions like "Red or dark pink lipstick" and "Forgot something important," Sidra’s video took aim at Aishwarya’s event-ready style. She humorously captioned the video, "Blue eyes and Abhishek is missing."

However, fans of Aishwarya did not see the humour. Social media was flooded with comments defending the actor, with one fan calling out the "audacity" to mock her. Another commented, "She is our pride! You should respect her, especially as a mother."

While Sidra clarified the video was meant as a joke, many fans weren’t amused, praising Aishwarya for her grace and parenting. The actor, who often attends international events with Aaradhya, has previously addressed their bond, stating simply, "She's my daughter. She goes with me everywhere."
