All 17 individuals accused in the brutal murder of pharmacy store owner Renukaswamy, including Darshan, are currently held in judicial custody at Parappana Agrahara Central Prison. The police, apprehensive about potential conspiracies among the accused to obstruct the investigation, have sought a court order to transfer Darshan to either Ramanagara or Tumkur jail.

Renukaswamy was allegedly murdered after sending inappropriate messages to Pavitra Gowda, a close associate of Darshan. The gruesome crime involved kidnapping Renukaswamy, severely beating him in a shed, and then disposing of his body in a drain.
Darshan's wife, Vijayalakshmi, has been actively working to secure his bail, enlisting the help of renowned criminal lawyer CV Nagesh. Despite her efforts, the police have charged Darshan with severe offenses, including murder, extortion, and kidnapping, making bail unlikely.
Fearing that the accused might conspire and mislead the ongoing investigation, the police have approached the court for Darshan’s transfer. They believe relocating him to a different facility would mitigate these risks and ensure the integrity of the investigation.
Today, the court will hear the police's petition regarding the transfer. The outcome of this hearing will be crucial in determining the course of the investigation and the legal proceedings that follow.
As the case progresses, it continues to draw significant public attention due to the severity of the charges and the involvement of high-profile legal figures. The court's decision on the transfer request will be pivotal in shaping the investigation's trajectory.
