In a significant development for East Bengaluru, a new feeder bus service has been launched by BMTC to connect Kaggadasapura with the SV Road metro station on Old Madras Road. This initiative comes as a relief to residents who have long grappled with inadequate last-mile connectivity in the area.

The service, which operates during peak morning and evening hours, aims to streamline commutes for residents along Kaggadasapura and Kaggadasapura Main Road. It is also expected to benefit a large number of professionals employed at Bagmane Tech Park and those commuting via Thippasandra market road.

The route fills a major gap in Bengaluru’s public transit grid, particularly for those relying on the metro for daily commutes.

The bus service was met with enthusiasm during its inaugural run, with local residents organizing a warm welcome that included floral tributes, traditional pooja rituals, and sweet distribution to the bus crew.

The onward route to SV Road metro station includes stops such as Lakshmi Hospital Junction, 13th Cross, DRDO quarters, and Bagmane Tech Park. The return journey features a slightly altered path through Indiranagar’s 100 Feet Road, CMH Hospital, and BEML Gate before looping back through the tech park and residential zones.

This feeder service marks a step forward in addressing mobility issues in one of Bengaluru’s growing residential and tech corridors.
