Indian cricketer and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fast bowler Yash Dayal has landed in legal trouble after a woman, allegedly his former partner filed a First Information Report (FIR) against him, accusing him of sexual exploitation and assault. The FIR has been registered under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Indirapuram Police Station in Ghaziabad.

According to police sources, the woman had earlier sent a written complaint to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s office, which subsequently directed local police to investigate the matter. Acting on this instruction, the FIR was officially registered, and an inquiry is now underway.
The complainant has claimed that she and Yash Dayal were in a relationship for over five years, during which, she alleges, he sexually exploited her under the pretext of marriage. When she confronted him about his distancing behavior, she says he physically assaulted her. The woman has reportedly also shared video clips and screenshots on social media to support her claims.
The police have recorded her statement and have initiated a formal investigation into the allegations. If the charges are confirmed, the cricketer could face arrest at any time. As of now, Yash Dayal has not made any public statement in response to the serious accusations.
