First time ever that Kohli was in the playing 11 but did not bat at number 6 or below

Whereas the game was one sided, dull it wasn’t. Suryakumar Yadav was sent in at number 3 after Shubman Gill failed to get a start when the fans were expecting Kohli. SKY entertained the crowd with some quintessential shots as usual. But when he departed, instead of Kohli, the crowd were witness to Hardik Pandya entering the crease. He departed shortly after getting run out. Yet again Jadeja entered the crease instead of Kohli. Meanwhile Ishan Kishan who opened the innings got to a well-made half-century but departed shortly after. Still no Kohli. Instead, Lord Thakur graced the crowd with his presence. His stay too was short-lived. No signs of Kohli found! The captain Rohit Sharma entered the scene. Apart from Kohli, only bowlers remained in the order. The captain, however, closed the deal with a 4 past the mid-wicket.
