While fans were in awe of his explosive batting, Vaibhav’s emotional post-match interview revealed the real story behind his success — the unwavering support and sacrifices of his parents.

“My dad quit his job just to support my cricket. My mother would sleep barely three hours a night so she could wake early, cook for me, and send me to practice,” Vaibhav shared. “Today, whatever I have achieved is because of their hard work.”

He added that despite financial challenges, his family continues to stand by him. “My brother has now taken over the family responsibilities. We’re still struggling, but my dad’s strength has always pushed me forward.”

In the match, Gujarat Titans posted 209/4, with Shubman Gill top-scoring at 84. Rajasthan Royals responded with 212/2 in 18.3 overs. Alongside Vaibhav’s fireworks, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 70 off 40 balls and Riyan Parag added a quick 32 off 15.

Vaibhav’s knock wasn’t just a cricketing statement — it was a tribute to the quiet resilience of his family.
