Former Infosys Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mohandas Pai recently shared his frustration with IndiGo’s service after a flight left passengers waiting on a hot tarmac in Bengaluru without air conditioning. The 66-year-old, traveling from Bengaluru to Coimbatore, took to social media to highlight the uncomfortable experience, claiming the aircraft’s AC was non-functional while passengers sat on the tarmac in sweltering heat.

Pai vented his frustration on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Indigo treats its passengers badly.” He further added, “Sitting in 6E 7407 without AC on hot tarmac in Bengaluru. No way to treat passengers." The former CFO explained that the air conditioning was only turned on after passengers protested, prompting the airline staff to use a tarmac generator to power the system.
