SM Krishna, Karnataka’s former Chief Minister and a towering statesman, passed away at 92, leaving behind a legacy of transformative leadership. Known as the architect of Bengaluru’s IT revolution, Krishna spearheaded policies that positioned the city as India’s Silicon Valley. His tenure was marked by visionary initiatives, including the proposal of the Bengaluru Metro, which modernized urban transport, and innovative traffic management strategies that eased the city’s congestion.
