A horrific incident of gang rape and robbery has been reported near a private college in Koramangala, where a woman was allegedly abducted and assaulted by four men.

The incident took place around 12:30 am, when the victim was approached by four hotel staff, who allegedly got her intoxicated, took her to a private room, and raped her. After the assault, the woman managed to call 112, the emergency helpline, and reported the crime.

She was immediately shifted to St. John’s Hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment. Following her complaint, police launched an investigation and took four suspects into custody. The Koramangala police station registered a case based on her statement, and allegations of both rape and robbery have been made.

Three special police teams have been formed to further investigate the case and track down any additional suspects. Authorities are also gathering CCTV footage and forensic evidence to strengthen the case.

The incident has once again raised concerns about women’s safety in Bengaluru, especially during late hours. Police officials have assured strict action against the accused and are working towards ensuring a speedy investigation.
