Former Indian cricketer and ex-coach Sanjay Bangar’s son Aryan Bangar has revealed that he has undergone a gender change and now identifies as Anaya. The news came to light when Anaya shared a video on social media, documenting her hormonal transformation journey. In the video, Anaya expressed her happiness and described the emotional and physical changes she has experienced.

"Losing strength but gaining happiness. Body changing, dysphoria easing… still a long way to go, but each step feels more like me," Anaya wrote in the caption accompanying the video.

Anaya, who grew up surrounded by cricket, shared how deeply the sport shaped her ambitions. "From a young age, cricket has always been a part of my life. Growing up, I watched my dad with awe as he represented and coached the country, and it wasn’t long before I started dreaming about following in his footsteps," she recalled.
While Anaya has now embraced her identity as a woman, she reflected on how cricket remained a significant part of her life. "The passion, the discipline, and the dedication he showed to the sport were deeply inspiring to me. Cricket became my love, my ambition, and my future," Anaya added.
