Actor Gal Gadot, best known for her role as Wonder Woman, shared a deeply personal story about the challenges she faced while pregnant with her fourth daughter, Ori. In an emotional Instagram post, Gadot revealed that during her eighth month of pregnancy in February, she was diagnosed with a "massive blood clot" in her brain, a condition known as cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT).

For weeks, Gadot endured debilitating headaches that confined her to bed before an MRI confirmed the life-threatening condition. She was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery, a moment she described as a stark reminder of life's fragility.

Gadot named her daughter Ori, meaning "my light" in Hebrew, as a symbol of hope during the darkest period of her life. “I told my husband, Jaron, that our daughter would be the light at the end of the tunnel,” she wrote.

Thanks to expert care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Gadot made a full recovery and is now using her experience to raise awareness about CVT, a rare but treatable condition that affects approximately 3 in 100,000 pregnant women.

Married since 2008, Gadot and her husband share four daughters. Ori was born in March, marking the end of what Gadot called a “tough pregnancy” and the beginning of a journey filled with gratitude.
