Ganesh Chaturthi 2024: Bollywood stars kick off festivities, share celebrations with fans

As the country gears up for the grand festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, several celebrities have taken to social media to share glimpses of their celebrations, wishing fans and showing their devotion to Lord Ganesha.

Bollywood actress Ananya Panday welcomed Lord Ganpati into her home alongside her parents, Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey. Sharing joyful moments on Instagram, Ananya captioned her post, “Welcome home Bappa,” as the family posed with folded hands in front of the beautifully adorned deity.

Kartik Aaryan, too, shared his celebration, visiting the famous Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai. He posted pictures of himself seeking blessings, captioning the post, “HE is back… and so am I for his blessings. Modak Party Begins! Ganpati Bappa Morya.”

Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared glimpses of her celebration, showcasing the traditional modaks offered to the deity.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun gave fans a sneak peek into the festivities at his residence, where his daughter was seen decorating the idol’s space.

Actress Sharvari looked stunning in a traditional violet Kanjivaram saree, passed down through generations, as she expressed her joy, calling Ganesh Chaturthi her "most favourite festival."

Ankita Lokhande was also seen preparing for the festival, sharing videos of herself selecting and worshiping a Ganapati idol.
