Adani’s net worth has soared to $111 billion, placing him 11th on the global rich list, just ahead of Ambani, whose fortune stands at $109 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

The resurgence in Adani’s wealth is attributed to a significant surge in the stock prices of his diverse conglomerate, which spans sectors from apples to airports. On Friday, shares of all Adani Group companies saw an increase of up to 14%, adding a staggering ₹84,064 crore to their market value. This brought the total market capitalisation of the 10 listed Adani Group firms to ₹17.51 lakh crore by the end of the trading session.

This financial leap has allowed Adani, a first-generation entrepreneur and chairman of Adani Group, to edge past Ambani, who is currently in Europe celebrating the pre-wedding festivities of his youngest son, Anant.

In 2024, Adani’s net worth has surged by $26.8 billion, significantly outpacing Ambani’s $12.7 billion increase, underscoring Adani’s rapid ascent in the global wealth rankings.
